From October 6 to November 9, 2008 I walked the Camino de Santiago (Via de la Plata and Camino Fonseca) from Seville to Santiago de Compostela. This blog consist of selected photographs and my journal entries from that pilgrimage.

Born in Honefoss, Norway. Immigrated to Canada with my parents in 1955. Grew up in Southern Ontario. Attended high school in Aurora and university in Waterloo, Ontario. Graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Science (Chemical Engineering) in 1972. Married Lolita in 1972. We have one daughter, Alethea, who lives in Calgary. Retired in 2006 after working for more than 25 years for Nova Chemicals primarily at the Joffre, Alberta petrochemical site. Currently I am specializing in RELAXING, REJUVENATING, RESISITING WORK and RECAPTURING THE MOMENT. In 2007 I walked the Camino Frances from St.Jean-Pied-de-Port in France to Santiago de Compostela in Spain and subsequently to Finisterre on the Atlantic coast. In 2008 I walked from Seville to Santiago de Compostela on the Via de la Plata and Camino Fonseca a distance just over 1000km. In 2011 I walked from Le Puy-en-Velay, France to Santiago de Compostela, a distance of about 1520 km. In 2012 I will walk the Inca trail in Peru and in 2013 the Camino Portuguese from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela.
